Platform will not load or shows a blank page in WebTrader platforms

What is causing it

Something is blocking the files or connections the platform needs: an extension, a network filter, a stale cached copy or an unsupported browser.

Why this happens

A browser platform is a large application delivered as files, plus a persistent live connection for prices. If either half is blocked the page can appear but never come alive. Blockers and corporate firewalls are the usual culprits because the persistent connection looks unusual to filtering software.

Testing on a second network and a second browser is the quickest way to work out whether the fault sits with you or with the provider, and it is worth doing before opening a support ticket.

The fix, step by step

1. Reload the page fully, then try a hard reload that fetches fresh files rather than cached ones.
2. Open the platform in a private window with extensions disabled. If it loads there, an extension or cached data in your normal window is the cause.
3. Turn off ad blockers, privacy blockers and script blockers for this address, then reload.
4. Try a different browser, and prefer a current mainstream browser as trading platforms often do not support older ones.
5. Try a different network, such as a phone hotspot. Workplace, school and some public networks block the live connections trading platforms rely on.
6. Turn off any VPN temporarily, as some providers restrict access by region and a VPN can place you outside the permitted area.
7. If it fails on two networks and two browsers, the problem is not yours. Check the provider's status page or contact them.

How to confirm it is fixed

The full interface loads, prices tick, and it still works after a reload rather than only on the first attempt.

Stopping it happening again

Keep one clean browser profile for trading with no extensions, and do not depend on a restricted network for live trading.
