Instruments or charts missing in WebTrader platforms

A market you expect is absent from the list, or present but refusing orders.

What is causing it

Providers enable only a subset of instruments per account type, and closed sessions make visible instruments untradeable.

Why this happens

Instrument availability is an account permission. It is common for firms to withhold single shares, exotic crosses and some crypto products, and for the list to differ between evaluation and funded stages, so what another trader sees is not evidence about your account.

The fix, step by step

  1. Search by part of the market name rather than an exact symbol string.
  2. Read the provider's published instrument list for your account type and stage.
  3. Check the market's trading session, since indices, commodities and shares follow exchange hours.
  4. Check any other watchlists or instrument groups before deciding it is missing.
  5. Ask the provider whether it is enabled for your account, because nothing you do in the platform can add it.

How to confirm it is fixed

The instrument appears and accepts a minimum-size order during its normal session.

Stopping it happening again

Confirm the instrument list before building a strategy around a product, and re-confirm at each stage change.
