Bar Replay is greyed out or will not start.
Replay is not available for that symbol, timeframe or your plan.
Bar Replay works by feeding you historical bars as though they were arriving live, so it needs the underlying history at the resolution you want to replay. Where that history is not available for a symbol, or the intraday resolution is not covered by your plan or your data entitlement, the feature has nothing to play and is unavailable rather than empty. This is why it can be greyed out on one symbol and work perfectly on another in the same session.
Replay depth is tied to the same data entitlements as the chart itself. Intraday history in particular is limited by plan, so a symbol you can chart on the daily may not replay on the five minute. The restriction is about what data you have access to rather than the replay feature being broken.
Start replay and step forward a few bars: the chart should advance one bar at a time with the price and any indicators updating as it goes. Check the replay start point is where you selected, and that indicators recalculate as bars are added rather than showing values based on the full future history.
Practise on liquid symbols and standard timeframes, where history is deepest and replay is most reliable. If replay on specific intraday timeframes is important to your process, confirm your plan covers the history depth you need before relying on it, since these limits are set by plan and by data entitlement.
