Full review

XTB is a large, well-established broker founded in 2002 in Warsaw, Poland, and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2016. It is regulated in multiple jurisdictions, most notably the FCA in the UK, KNF in Poland, CySEC in Cyprus and the DFSA in Dubai, and serves more than 2.5 million clients across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. It does not accept clients from the United States.

The broker's defining feature is that it runs entirely on its own award-winning xStation 5 platform and has deliberately dropped MetaTrader, offering no MT4, MT5, cTrader or TradingView, so Market Structure Pro cannot be used. XTB is a genuine multi-asset broker: alongside CFDs on forex, indices, commodities and crypto, it offers real stocks and ETFs that are commission-free up to €100,000 of monthly turnover in eligible regions. There is no minimum deposit, a free demo is available and support runs 24/5.

Costs are competitive for a market maker, with EUR/USD spreads frequently below 1 pip and tight index pricing. The main trade-offs are the single closed platform (no MetaTrader or third-party charting, limited automation), no real crypto, limited social/copy trading and no US access.

Reputation & reviews

Verdict
~ Mixed reviews

XTB is a large, publicly listed (Warsaw SE) broker regulated by the FCA, KNF and CySEC, with high review volume (~2,770 Trustpilot at 3.5/5) and strong expert scores (BrokerChooser 4.9/5, ForexBrokers.com 4.5/5), no signs of fake-review manipulation. However its reputation carries real regulatory blemishes: KNF fined XTB PLN 9.9M (~$2.7M) in 2018 over asymmetric price-deviation practices, and again PLN 20M (~$5.5M) over MiFID II onboarding breaches (both appealed). Withdrawal-delay complaint threads exist, solid-but-mixed.
