Full review

Trade Nation is a London-headquartered online broker operating since 2014, rooted in the former Core Spreads spread-betting brand. It offers CFDs across forex, indices, commodities, shares and crypto, plus tax-advantaged spread betting for UK clients. Regulated across several jurisdictions including Tier-1 FCA (UK) and ASIC (Australia), plus FSCA, SCB Bahamas, Seychelles FSA and CMVM Portugal; non-EU/UK clients typically onboarded under offshore Seychelles or Bahamas entities.

The main draw is simple, low, mostly fixed spreads with zero commission and no minimum deposit, making it beginner-friendly. Trading via its own TN Trader platform (web/mobile), MetaTrader 4 and TradingView, with copy trading and a demo. It does not offer MetaTrader 5, so Market Structure Pro cannot be used. Verified spreads: EUR/USD ~0.6, US 500 at 0.4, US Tech 100 at 0.9, gold ~$0.30. Execution is market-maker (no dealing desk).

Independent reviews are consistently positive: Trustpilot 4.4/5 from ~1,970 reviews, BrokerChooser 4.2/5, ForexBrokers.com 4.0/5. Main limitations: narrow product range, no MT5, no live chat, lighter research/education. Does not accept US residents.
