Full review

CMC Markets is a London-headquartered, LSE-listed broker founded in 1989, offering CFDs, UK spread betting and real-share investing (CMC Invest) across a very large range of 12,000+ instruments. It is regulated by several top-tier authorities including the FCA, ASIC, BaFin, MAS and CIRO.

Its flagship proprietary Next Generation platform is well regarded for charting and analysis, supplemented by MT4 and TradingView. Pricing is competitive, with a no-minimum-deposit standard account and an FX Active account offering tighter spreads in exchange for a small commission.

Note: CMC offers MetaTrader 4 but not MetaTrader 5, so Market Structure Pro cannot be used here. It operates a market-maker model and does not accept US retail clients, making it best suited to UK, European, Australian and Canadian traders who want broad market access and a strong proprietary platform.
